A bit of personal branding exploration, playing with bold colour and minimal shapes to land on something that finally felt like me.

About the project
Finding my own voice and style has been one of the hardest things I've done as a designer; it turns out designing for yourself is a different challenge altogether.
This ended up being one of the most demanding branding projects I've worked on, but also one I'm proudest of. It finally captures who I am as a designer: bold colours, minimal design, and a style that feels like mine.
Logo
The logo grew out of playing around with my initials, J.LO. I wanted something fluid and playful, but still professional, not stiff, boring or overdesigned. What came out of it is a mark that holds up well on its own and works just as easily sitting next to text.
I tested it across a set of colours to make sure it stayed flexible, bold enough to stand out on its own, but simple enough to adapt to whatever context it's dropped into.
